ストロベリーオペラケーキ/Strawberry Opera Cake

I recently got a new book from a Japanese book store.

I decide to make this strawberry opera cake. Since I'm still learning Japanese my Japanese language teacher translated the recipe for me from my book.

You can cut it into slices or leave it like this.

I made this cake for my friends at my Japanese language school. They all really enjoyed it. I really recommend you all to make this cake. It isn't very difficult to make and it looks really elegant.

I made this delicious cake once again during Christmas time.  I cut the strawberries in half and put them standing up. Although it is a smaller cake than the first one it still looks amazing and I think even more fancy (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
